7.18.25
7.18.25 is an 8-mins 2D animated film, I did for my final year project. It focuses on the three points of a young boy's life, 7,18 and 25. I was in charge of the segment for 18. The three of us co-directed the film, taking one part each.
For 18, the young boy finds his way to a masquerade club and has an encounter with a much older woman.

For the overall look of 18, the lines were meant to have a more bold and rough quality compared to 7 and 25.
Rough brushwork and gradiated hues were employed for the rendering of the background as well, to focus on creating a lively and vibrant atmosphere of the club.
The film was animated in TVPaint and Post-production was done in After Effects.
