7.18.25
7.18.25 is an 8-mins 2D animated film, I did for my final year project. It focuses on the three points of a young boy's life, 7,18 and 25. I was in charge of the segment for 18. The three of us co-directed the film, taking one part each.
For 18, the young boy finds his way to a masquerade club and has an encounter with a much older woman.

STORYBOARD FOR AIR: THE DRUGGIE
Air was the first collaboration between Jolene, Min Hao and I. We split thestoryboards by character arc and split the animation work later.
For the druggie, I wanted a character that was physically invincible but his reliance on substance for temporal bliss leads to his demise.
The smoke and liquid animation in this scene made it really exciting and interesting to animate.
